Heidi became a member of the Bell Team in 2014. With ten years of prior Financial Services experience, she serves as an Investment Advisor for individuals, couples and businesses. Heidi enjoys developing meaningful relationships with her clients, and is committed to creating space for conversations that are clear, effective, and genuine. She is a member of Bell’s Investment Committee as well as the Financial Planning team. She also serves as the firm’s resident expert on annuities, and is a strategic member of The Women’s Roundtable.
Heidi was born and raised in Pleasant Hill, California. She recalls an impactful event in her life at age eight, when her father took her to the local Bank of America where he helped her open a savings account. From that day forward, she became fascinated with personal finance and began developing financially responsible habits which have served her well, both personally and professionally. To this day, Heidi has that Bank of America savings book and has retained a passion for financial literacy.
Prior to joining the Bell team, Heidi served as an Investment Advisor for J.D. Mellberg Financial, and as a Branch Operations Associate with UBS Wealth Management where she became knowledgeable about brokerage services and practices. She has also worked as a Program Coordinator for United Way in conjunction with Rebuilding Together, bringing income tax preparation services to low-income individuals. After Hurricane Katrina in New Orleans, as a financial counselor for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), Heidi worked directly with disaster victims, assisting them to obtain federal aid and financial services.
Heidi graduated from the University of Arizona in Tucson in 2004, where she majored in Finance. She holds a Series 65 securities license and a California Life and Health insurance license. She is currently enrolled at the College for Financial Planning where she is pursuing further certification.
Away from work, Heidi is an avid rock climber and hiker. Most recently, she completed the Rim to Rim hike in the Grand Canyon. She also enjoys serving as a mentor for The East Bay College Fund, which supports first-generation college students from Oakland Public Schools through the collegiate process.
