Bell Investment Advisors is pleased to announce that we are sponsoring the upcoming Oakland East Bay Symphony season finale concert, “Bernstein’s Candide”, to be held on Friday, May 15, 2015, at 8 pm at the historic Paramount Theater in Oakland. The entire evening will be devoted to Leonard Bernstein’s comic operetta, Candide, based on Voltaire’s satirical novella of the same name.
The piece is presented as part of the Symphony’s American Masterworks series and will be conducted by Michael Morgan. The program will feature a number of fine vocalists, including 2012 GRAMMY Award-winning artist Thomas Glenn in the title role, along with the Oakland Symphony Chorus.
