Forrest Bell, Investment Associate

Forrest’s primary job is to introduce the firm to the community.  He leads informative, corporate education seminars and helps people decide whether or not professional investment management is right for them.  He also manages many of our new client relationships and assists in integrating new clients into the firm. Forrest is also a member of our Investment Committee.

Forrest spent seven years of his professional life as a teacher at the elementary and middle school level in diverse southern California areas. He was a finalist for the 2001 Rotary Teacher of the Year award in the Pasadena Unified School District. Forrest completed a two-year business professionals course in 2005 which piqued his interest in financial services.

Forrest graduated from Claremont McKenna College in 1997 with a major in literature.  He received a Master’s Degree in Education in 1999 from Claremont Graduate University where he was honored with the Peter Lincoln Spencer Fellowship, a prize awarded to the most promising and innovative teacher of that year’s graduating class. Forrest also holds a Series 65 securities license.

Forrest lives in Berkeley with his wife and young daughter. He enjoys taking walks with his family around Berkeley, listening to NPR, reading Sports Illustrated and The New Yorker, and hosting friends and family in their Berkeley home.
