Dave O’Rourke, Investment Advisor

Dave is our Investment Advisor who manages the Santa Rosa office. He is responsible for bringing our message to the North Bay. He has a deep commitment to the neighborhoods in and around Santa Rosa becoming a staple at community building events. He insures that our North Bay clients have a convenient place to go when they need to speak with an advisor for portfolio reviews or to ask questions about their accounts. He is also a member of our Investment Committee.

Dave came to Bell Investment Advisors in 2007 with extensive experience in the financial industry. He began his investment career with Dean Witter & Co. in 1978. His experience in the securities industry includes time with Sanford Bernstein & Co., Inc., myCFO.com, and a boutique San Francisco investment firm, where he was Managing Director. His background also includes a long stretch in the software industry as an entrepreneur and executive. In 1994, he successfully merged a business he co-founded into a leading, publicly traded company.

Dave received a Bachelor of Science from U.C. Berkeley. He is on the board of directors for the 6th Street Playhouse in Santa Rosa. He also holds a Series 65 securities license.

Dave has called the North Bay home since 1980. He lives with his wife, Christine, and their children on the slopes of Mt. Burdell in Northern Marin.  An avid biker and runner, Dave also enjoys golf and tennis, the performing arts, travel, and finding new restaurants to enjoy.
