Marivic Hammond brings to Bell Investment Advisors over 15 years of experience in the investment management field. Originally from Southern California, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles. She began her career in financial services as an equity trader, and later served as a compliance officer for a boutique investment advisory firm in Los Angeles.
In time, Marivic found her way to Wells Capital Management, where she remained for the next 11 years, eventually following career development opportunities to the San Francisco Bay Area. At Wells Capital, she held lead roles in marketing and sales support, and served for many years as a Relationship Manager for institutional clients. She was instrumental in developing and managing a wrap program platform geared specifically for high net-worth clients. She holds the Series 63 and 65 licenses.
Marivic joined Bell as an Investment Advisor in June of 2011. She is impressed by Bell’s momentum-based investment strategy and client-centered portfolio design. She strongly resonates with the firm’s values of professional integrity and commitment to excellence in client service. She has always been an enthusiastic team player and already feels a part of the Bell team.
One of Marivic’s avocations is photography. Her style is informal and she aims to capture spontaneity from her subjects. She also loves travel photography and is a self-proclaimed “Italophile” at heart. At a moment’s notice, she would willingly and aimlessly wander the hills of Montalcino for a good glass of Brunello. She also enjoys sports and looks forward to spring when college basketball wraps up and baseball season begins. She is married to husband Craig, and has two young sons, Matthew and Joshua.
Marivic is a long-time supporter of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. She is a past participant of AIDS/Lifecycle, a seven-day bike ride from San Francisco to Los Angeles to benefit SFAF and the many clients it serves.
